Services

What is a Brazilian wax?

A Brazilian wax removes hair from the entire pubic area — front, back, and sides — with the option to leave a small landing strip if preferred. The service typically takes about 30 minutes.

What other services do you offer besides Brazilian wax?

We offer a full menu including underarm, leg, arm, bikini, chest, back, eyebrow, lip, chin, full face, and more. We also offer the HydroJelly facial treatment and vajacial services. Visit our Services page for the complete menu.

What is HydroJelly and what does it do?

HydroJelly is a nutrient-rich peel-off mask that hydrates, brightens, and calms the skin in a single treatment. It can be added to any waxing service, booked as a stand-alone facial, or enjoyed as part of the Summer Glow Bundle.

What types of wax do you use?

We offer four formulas: Cocoa Wax (all-natural, calms redness — ideal for sensitive skin), Regular Hard Wax, Sugar Wax (natural paste of sugar, lemon & water), and Turmeric Wax (brightens skin and may slow regrowth over time).

What is the difference between sugaring and waxing?

Sugaring uses an all-natural paste of sugar, lemon juice, and water applied at room temperature and removed in the direction of hair growth. Waxing uses warm wax applied in the direction of growth and removed against it. We offer both so you can choose what works best for your skin.

Do you offer face waxing?

Yes. We offer eyebrow shaping, lip waxing, chin waxing, sideburn waxing, and full face waxing. Face waxing services typically take 5 to 20 minutes depending on the area.

Do you wax men?

Yes, we welcome male clients for all waxing services including Brazilian, back, chest, shoulder, brow waxing, and more. Check our Men’s Waxing page for the full menu.

Preparing for Your Appointment

How do I prepare for my first Brazilian wax?

Allow hair to grow at least ¼ inch (about 2–3 weeks after shaving), exfoliate gently the day before to lift the hair, avoid heavy lotions or oils on the day of your appointment, and wear loose clothing for comfort afterward. Arrive a few minutes early to complete intake forms.

Should I shave before getting a wax?

No — do not shave before your wax appointment. Hair must be at least ¼ inch long, roughly the length of a grain of rice, for the wax to grip and remove it cleanly.

How long does my hair need to be for waxing?

Hair should be at least ¼ inch long for effective waxing — typically 2–3 weeks of growth after shaving. If you have never waxed before, 4 weeks of growth is ideal.

Can I get waxed while on my period?

Yes. As long as you wear a fresh tampon or menstrual cup, your appointment can proceed as normal. Skin is often more sensitive in the days around your period, so some clients prefer to schedule a few days before or after.

Can I get waxed if I’m pregnant?

Yes, waxing is generally safe during pregnancy. Please mention your pregnancy to your esthetician so we can adjust our technique and product if needed, as skin tends to be more sensitive during this time.

During & After Your Visit

How long does a Brazilian wax appointment take?

A standard Brazilian wax takes approximately 30 minutes from start to finish. Add-on services such as HydroJelly or additional waxing areas will extend the appointment.

Does waxing hurt?

Waxing involves some discomfort, especially during a first Brazilian, but most clients describe it as brief and very manageable. Pain decreases significantly with each visit as hair grows back finer. Our cocoa wax is formulated to be gentler on sensitive skin.

How long do waxing results last?

Results typically last 3–6 weeks depending on your hair growth cycle. Most clients book Brazilian appointments every 4 weeks for consistently smooth results.

What should I do after my wax appointment?

For 24–48 hours after your wax, avoid hot showers, swimming pools, saunas, tanning beds, and intense exercise. Wear loose breathable clothing, skip fragranced products on the waxed area, and begin gentle exfoliation starting 48 hours after your appointment to prevent ingrown hairs.

How often should I get waxed?

For consistent results, most clients return every 4–6 weeks. Regular waxing on a 4-week cycle produces finer regrowth over time and a more comfortable experience at each visit.

Services & Methods

What is the difference between Eyebrow Waxing and Eyebrow Design?

Eyebrow Waxing ($15) is a clean-up service that tidies stray hairs and maintains your existing brow shape. Eyebrow Design ($20) is a full custom shaping service where your esthetician maps out a shape that flatters your face structure, including arch height and tail adjustments. Choose Waxing to maintain an established shape, or Design to define or redesign your brows.

What is a vajacial and who is it for?

A vajacial is a skincare treatment for the external bikini area — not an internal treatment. It cleanses, exfoliates, extracts ingrown hairs, and applies brightening and soothing serums. It’s ideal for anyone who waxes regularly and wants to prevent ingrown hairs, reduce hyperpigmentation, and keep bikini-area skin healthy between appointments.

Does sugar waxing hurt less than regular waxing?

Many clients find sugaring more comfortable than traditional hard waxing, particularly on sensitive areas. Because the paste is applied at room temperature and removed in the direction of hair growth (rather than against it), there is typically less skin trauma and post-treatment redness. Individual comfort varies.

Can I add a HydroJelly Mask to my wax appointment?

Yes. The HydroJelly Mask is a popular add-on that can be booked with any waxing service. At $20, it hydrates, brightens, and calms the skin. It’s also included in the Summer Glow Bundle (Brazilian + HydroJelly + Underarm Wax) for $60.
